Race to the King Charity Event

On Saturday 15th June, the Glanvilles team took on 'Race to the King' 2024's ultra and double ultra marathons, in aid of local charity Rowans Hospice.

The Glanvilles team this year included Craig Rees, Mark Watson, Rebecca Prince, Sophie Daniels, William Stisted, Elisabeth Adair, Joe Wicks, Johnathan Arman, Nicola Crookes-West and Charlotte Brewster.

As of Wednesday 19th June, the team had raised a fantastic £1,100 for Rowans Hospice. If you wish to donate you can do so via our JustGiving page HERE.

About Rowans Hospice

We are a charity providing free care and support to adults in our community who have a life-limiting illness and their families.

Many people think that hospices are all about dying. But through our many different services, we support people to live as well as they can with their illness. From the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement support.

Our Living Well Services put the emphasis on living with a life-limiting illness. You can drop in and get expert advice; you don’t need to feel alone. One of our nurses will talk you through all the support, different classes and treatments that you and your carer or family will be able to access that will help with your healthcare journey.
