Vacation Scheme

Our 2024 Vacation Scheme is open to law students and non-law students who intend to undertake the conversation course.

Taking part in our Vacation Scheme will provide an excellent opportunity to understand the work that we do at Glanvilles, to meet our people and gain a sense of our culture and values. It is a chance to see if Glanvilles is the right place for you.

You will have an opportunity to be involved in the work that we do and meet the people that you may be working with. You will spend time with various colleagues from partners to trainees, gaining a first-hand experience of working for Glanvilles. Your experience during the Vacation Scheme (along with any other experience you have) is likely to be beneficial to any subsequent Application for a Training Contract.

We will provide you with feedback at the end of your Vacation Scheme and will let you know if we are able to offer you a place as a Trainee Solicitor or a Paralegal with a view to qualifying through undertaking the Solicitors Qualification Exam.

Our summer Vacation Scheme is an unpaid placement that runs for two weeks across our offices (Chichester, Fareham, Havant, Petworth) in one or two departments and will ensure that you obtain an all-round experience. Any parking expenses will be covered by the Firm. The Firm will be unable to cover other travel expenses. Vacation Schemes take place throughout June and July.

We are currently looking to fill spaces for Trainee Solicitors or Paralegals for 2024 and 2025. Anyone who successfully completes a Vacation Scheme with us may be considered for a Training Contract and so we encourage anyone interested in working for us to apply for the Vacation Scheme.
